WHY CHOOSE CHOKMAN FOR YOUR BUSINESS SUIT?

In-house tailors — every suit made in Sydney CBD Unlike tailors who send production to overseas workshops, every Chokman suit is cut, fitted and finished at our Sydney CBD studio. You deal directly with the tailor making your suit — not a salesperson passing orders offshore.

The lowest bespoke price in Sydney CBD — from $699 Most CBD tailors start at $1,500–$2,200 for bespoke suits. Chokman starts at $699 for a hand-crafted, fully custom suit in Super 120s European wool. We keep costs accessible without compromising on materials or craftsmanship.

30+ measurements — not 10–15 Most tailors take 10–18 measurements. Chokman takes 30+ — including sub-categories like shoulder slope, posture angle, bicep width and calf circumference. The result is a suit that fits your specific body, not a generic approximation of it.

Men and women — same standard of craftsmanship Chokman is one of the few Sydney CBD tailors offering the same level of bespoke tailoring for both men and women. Corporate suits, court suits, wedding suits — all crafted to the same standard regardless of gender.

500+ European wool fabrics like Holland & Sherry — our fabric room covers every weight, weave and colour appropriate for Sydney's professional environment and climate.

At Chokman, we offer more than just bespoke suits. We also provide a range of complementary services, including the creation of custom-made shirts, trousers, and waistcoats. We can also assist you in selecting the perfect accessories to complete your look, from ties and pocket squares to cufflinks and shoes.

Our goal is to provide a comprehensive tailoring experience, ensuring that you are impeccably dressed for any business event.

Business Suit Styles — What Works in Sydney's Corporate Environment

Sydney's corporate dress code varies by industry — from the formal expectation of law firms and financial institutions to the smart-casual culture of tech and creative industries. Chokman tailors business suits appropriate for every professional context.

Classic Two-Piece Business Suit

The foundation of any professional wardrobe. A well-fitted two-piece in Super 120s or 140s European wool in navy, charcoal or mid-grey covers virtually every corporate occasion in Sydney — from daily office wear to client meetings, presentations and formal events.

Recommended fabrics: Super 120s for daily wear and durability. Super 140s for client-facing roles requiring a finer finish.

Recommended colours: Navy (approachable, authoritative), charcoal (formal, commanding), mid-grey (versatile, professional).

Three-Piece Suit

Adding a vest elevates the two-piece to a more formal and distinguished silhouette — appropriate for senior roles, board meetings, and client-facing positions where a higher level of formality is expected. The vest also provides the practical benefit of maintaining a polished appearance when the jacket is removed during long working days.

Corporate Separates

For professionals wanting maximum wardrobe flexibility, Chokman tailors jacket and trouser combinations that can be mixed and matched — extending the value of each garment across multiple outfit combinations.

Women's Corporate Suits

Chokman specialises in bespoke corporate suits for women — a market most Sydney CBD tailors do not properly serve. From trouser suits and skirt suits to corporate blazers and court suits for female lawyers and barristers, every women's suit is crafted from the same 30+ measurement process and 500+ European wool fabric range.

“I bought and had my suit tailored here for a wedding in California where I was the brother of the bride. The attention to detail and measurements were superb. Most tailors that I have been to only measure your waist, arm length, chest, and leg length.

Chokman goes further into depth and measure sub categories such as your calves and biceps where other most places would ignore. I have worn many suits to all types of events but I have never gotten as many compliments as I did with the suit I received from Chokman. You can never go wrong with a well tailored suit and Chokman does tailored suits the right way.”

BUSINESS SUITS FAQ

How is a bespoke business suit different from an off-the-shelf suit?

A bespoke suit is crafted from scratch to your exact measurements, style preferences, and needs. Unlike off-the-rack suits, it ensures a perfect fit, superior craftsmanship, and the ability to personalise every detail, from fabric to button placement.

Can I customise the style and design of my business suit?

Absolutely! At Chokman, you can personalise every element of your suit, including lapel styles, pocket designs, lining, and even stitching details. We work closely with you to create a suit that aligns with your unique vision and professional needs.

How does the consultation process work at Chokman

The process begins with a one-on-one consultation where we discuss your style, preferences, and the purpose of the suit. We guide you through fabric selection and design options, ensuring every detail reflects your personality and aspirations.

Do you offer corporate packages for teams and firms?

Yes — corporate group packages start at 10% off for 3–5 suits, 20% off for 6–9 suits, and 25% off for 10 or more suits. Popular with law firms, financial services firms, accounting practices and real estate agencies in Sydney CBD. Contact us directly to discuss your firm's requirements.

How many fittings are required for a bespoke business suit?

Typically, we recommend two to three fittings. The first fitting focuses on the initial construction, while subsequent fittings allow us to refine the fit and make adjustments to ensure the suit is flawless and moves naturally with you.
